Mark was recommended to us by a friend and I can safely say he has been the best and most reliable contractor I've ever used.
He arrived on time, did exactly what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it, paid more attention to detail than anyone I know (including myself!) and was very competitive on price.
A pleasure to deal with....I have already and will continue to pass on as a further recommendation.

We’ve been using Mark’s services for several years, and he has always been a pleasure to work with. He’s punctual, reliable, and consistently delivers great quality work at fair prices. These days it can be hard to find genuinely trustworthy service providers who take pride in their work, which makes us appreciate Mark even more. Highly recommend.

Mark did a fantastic job building a boardwalk deck in our challenging front yard terrain.
Marks attention to detail was top notch, as was his communication from quote through to completion. We have no hesitation recommending him to friends and family and we’ll get him back to complete other jobs for sure.

Mark repaired the footings to my pergola, replaced the screening and made a new gate. He pays meticulous attention to detail. He is very reliable, punctual and hard working. I am delighted with everything he has done for me.

The silicone in my shower was 95% black from mould, 5% yellow from discolouration and 5% pink from soap scum. Yet Mark was able to remove every bit of silicone internal and external to my shower, and replace with new. It is difficult to find someone with the skill set to do this detailed work.
Next month, Mark is building me a Japanese bridge for my garden. He is also supplying the timber and painting the bridge.
For all your renovation and creative needs, Mark will do a perfect job.

Mark is highly skilled and his workmanship absolute top quality. We are always very happy with his work, whether building a deck or a fence or carrying out repairs. He is very polite, clean and tidy and fantastic value - we highly recommend him.

I used Mark recently for a variety of different jobs both interior & exterior.
Mark is completely professional from quote to quality of work. He has high standards across the board - communication, punctialality, professionalism & quality. Rare traits in a tradesman.

Needing our front gate repaired, I found Mark through the local yellow pages. Maybe it is a female thing.... but i always feel like I am being ripped off by tradies just because I need help to do house maintenance....... NOT so with the case of Mark from the 'By Request Handyman Service'.
As a small job, Mark was able to be onsite within 24 hours. His prices were really reasonable. He did not spend more time than needed to get the job done. He did not try to talk me into having additional work done on the gate. He was polite. He was kind to my kids who were super keen to watch his every move. He presented well and even cleaned up after himself.
Will definately be happy to recommend him to other mums needing home maintenance jobs done.Thanks Mark.
Early December 2017 we had 3 tradesmen to give us a quote on re-doing our deck. We got one reply the middle of January, with a quote dearer than our renovated kitchen was a couple of years back. The other 2 we are still waiting to hear from! We found Mark on the net, phoned him one day, he arrived the next & we received the quote that evening. We accepted his very reasonable quote & our deck was started a couple of weeks later. Marks work ethic is excellent, the deck is fantastic & we would be happy to refer him to anyone needing a good reliable tradesman.

Mark was utterly incredible and a consummate professional. He replaced our deck in record speed to extremely high quality. We were blown away by the end result. His communication, planning and delivery was impeccable. We would use him again in a heartbeat.

Very honest & very fairly priced. Good quality works by a builder who thinks to solve problems. I have had Mark do jobs at both my home and investments. Happy to recommend.
